House and shop. Probably mid C19 raised on C18 ground floor. Incised rendered
front. Herringbone-tooled sandstone ground floor on right return with red brick
above. Pantiled roof with stone ridge and gable copings. Gable end to road. 2
storeys, attic and basement, 1 wide bay. Right half-glazed shop door, left
Victorian-style shop window, both in corniced wood frame. Wood canted oriel,
with fixed lights above, and small light in gable peak. Right return blank,
(possibly a rebuild after demolition of next building). 1-bay left return shows
boarded basement door, ground floor 3-light shop window with some glazing bars
and first-floor 3-light shop window with some glazing bars and first-floor original
sash, lost intermediate bars. Stackless chimney pot on far end of roof
ridge. Included for group value.
