Memorial cross and enclosure. Circa 1898. Bronze plates,
probably over a wooden armature, oak railed enclosure with
memorial plaque. A slender tapering standing-cross about 2m
high facing W. Repousee decoration in Arts and Crafts style to
front. Buttressed shaft rises from swept square base, with
plinth and corner turrets. Head of cross covered by a deep semi-
cylindrical bronze hood. Low enclosure around of oak posts and
rails with gabled central framed panel on W about lm high, with
repousee inscriptions to Walter Wren 1834-98 and other members of
family. Bronze capping to gabled top of panel.
