Small country house. Circa 1800. Painted stucco. Low pitched
slate roof. 2 storeys. Lower left-hand service wing
incorporates C17 or earlier timber framed structure. Main block
has 1:2:1 window front. Shallow projecting centre with close-set
1st floor windows and porch with outer paired columns and
pilaster responds. Triple-hung outer ground floor windows with
arched centre lights. Sash windows. Half glazed double doors.
Rear elevation with 3-window 2-storey bow on left and 1 window on
right. Adam influenced interior has segmental-ended entrance and
staircase hall with curved flight having modern railings.
Service block has large red brick stack near left end and
irregularly spaced and sized sash windows, indicating refacing of
earlier structure.
