Probably house and cottage, now public house. Late C18 with C19 and C20
alteration. Colour-washed brick on black-painted plinth with pantile roof.
2-storey, 5-bay front arranged 2:3. C20 panelled double doors beneath
overlight to centre right in renewed door-case of dentilled cornice on
fluted pilaster jambs. 3 pairs of 4-pane sashes to left and single 4-pane
sash to right. 4-pane sashes to first floor. Painted stone sills and keyed
wedge lintels to all windows. Modillion eaves course above 2 bays to left,
and cavetto-moulded eaves cornice over bays to right. Coped gables and
shaped kneelers. End and left of centre stacks.
