Farmhouse. Later C17, extended front and rear c1850. Red brick.
Slate roof. 2-storeyed double pile block. The front is 3
windows, divided by shallow pilasters, outer windows with gable
ends and the centre with a gabled porch. Angled brick eaves
cornices. Gauged brick window heads to flazing bar casements,
the porch with an elliptical arch. Original door with echinus
moulded panels. Rear block has C17 brickwork with some flint in
the plinth. Larqe external chimney stack with 3 rebuilt diagonal
shafts. On side nearest farmvard is a lonq mid C19 extension
comprising services and barn. At the join is a large ridge
chimney stack, presumably C17.
