Pair of houses. Right hand bay is dated 1816 above ground floor window,
otherwise c.1840. Earlier bay is snecked stone, whitewashed, otherwise
stuccoed brick. Slate roofs. Gothic style. 2 storeys. Earlier bay has
Tudor arched windows in splayed reveals. Drip moulds, arched to ground
floor, square to first floor. Giant pilasters to ends. Ornamental
foliate course below boxed eaves. Right gable end: stepped parapet,
extruded stack. To left and slightly further forward entrance to No. 67
in a recess. 6 fielded panelled door. Pointed arched head, mask corbels.
Blind arcading below crenellated parapet. Further left a ground floor
canted bay with four 4-centred arched headed lights in chamfered
reveals. First floor window with a 4-centred arched head stepped out to
sides. First floor pilaster strips on corbel figures. Cusped bargeboards
to gable with central corbel figure. Stack to rear with 2 circular
shafts. Left return to No. 69 at a 45 degree angle. 1 bay with entrance
to right in angled porch, 4 centred arched head and chamfered surround
to door below crenellated parapet. Sashes in splayed reveals with
stopped hood moulds. Crenellated parapet. Right end stack. Interior not
inspected.
