Milepost. Late C19. Made by Mattisons of Bedale. Cast iron. Triangular
section with sloping upper face. Inscription. Left face: "Malton 12 miles"
below pointing hand. Right face: "York 6 miles" below pointing hand.
Reverse: Manufacturer's name.
