House. Early/mid Cl8 with earlier origins. Partly cruck-framed, coursed
rubble sandstone, pantile roof, brick stacks. 2-cell, direct-entry plan,
with opposed doors. 1½-storey, 2-window front. C20 part-glazed central
door. All windows arc 2-light horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars
and stone sills. Blocked fire-window to left. Thin timber lintels. One
end stack to left of steeply-pitched roof. Interior: stone spiral stair to
rear of room to right. Roughly-trimmed bressumer over fireplace in room to
left. One pair of crucks survives in the cross wall between the 2 rooms.
