5/19 Low Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably late C17 with late C18, C19 and C20 additions and
alterations. Magnesian limestone rubble with ashlar and brick dressings and
stone slate and pantile roof. 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows with range
to rear. Quoins to first floor level. Entrance through C20 central porch
with glazed door. 12-pane sashes throughout with brick quoined jambs under
cambered heads to ground floor and soldier arches to first floor with stone
sills. End stacks. To left gable are remains of 2 mullion windows, one a
3-light mullion, with one mullion missing, under hoodmould, the other simply
has hoodmould remaining. Right gable is cement rendered but may cover
similar windows. Interior. Shutters to some windows. North Yorkshire and
