Cottage. C17. Roughly coursed rubble, Doulting stone, double Roman clay tile gabled roof with ashlar stone chimney
stack with string course and moulded cap to left gable. Large plain gable off eaves to left. 2-storey and attic in
front gable. 2-window front with entrance on right. Flat stone hood slab on brackets, with plain stone door frame,
painted 2- and 3-light casement windows in moulded stone mullion windows with drip moulds over, all painted. Gable
Cottage and Tudor Cottage (qv) may have, at one tine, formed a single house. (VAG Report, Unpublished SRO, October
1981).
