Farmhouse. Late C18 or early C19 with possibly earlier core.
Coursed limestone and sandstone rubble mix, slate-hung gable-end
to left and rendered gable-end to right, slate roof. 2 storeys
and gable-lit attic. Integral brick end stacks. 3 bays. C20
casements in circa 1800 openings with stone flat arches; triangular
pedimental gable over centre bay with lunette in tympanum; central
6 raised and fielded-panelled door with 5-part rectangular overlight.
Lower 2 storey service wing to right with C20 lean-to to left and
half-glazed door to right. Interior: the remains of a full cruck
truss survives in the main block. Alcock, p.143.
