Semi-detached cottage. Probably late C18, Local stone cut and squared,
random coursed; concrete double Roman tiles between coped gables; End
and intermediate brick chimney stack. 2-storeys with attic, 3-bays.
Plain boarded entrance door in heavy frame between bays 2 and 3; bay-1
has 2-light timber casement windows with diamond leaded panes, bay 2 and
lower window to bay 3 plain casement windows, upper window to bay-3
earlier pattern 3-light casement window with small diamond leaded panes;
all openings plain with slightly segmental voussoired arches. Casement
windows to South gable wall, and at attic level a semi-circular window
radially glazed in ashlar surround. The South bay of different build and
is probably the earlier portion: high gable copings suggest original
thatch. Attached on North to Henderson's Cottage (qv) with which it has
group value in relation to Glebe Farm House (qv).
