House. Early to mid-C19. Red brick; hipped slate roof; brick
stacks. Roughly square, principal elevation to the south-west. 2
storeys with eaves band; 3 windows, casements with segmental heads;
central door with wooden doorcase and rectangular overlight. North-
west elevation: 2 storeys; 2 windows, casements with segmental heads;
central part-glazed door with wooden porch. Wharf House is part of an
interesting complex of structures at the junction of the Trent and Mersey,
and Coventry canals and is included for group value.
