Late C18 Temple, built by Charles James Fox. Small rectangular building faced
with Roman cement. Cornice and parapet. The entrance is flanked by pairs
of stone Ionic columns which have lost their coating of cement. The interior
has an apsidal end containing 3 semi-circular niches with busts of Fox on
tall pedestals. 2 inscriptions in English and Italian, respectively in praise
of friendship.
