House. Dated 1620. Original almshouses of ironstone, of which parts
remain to ground floor. Completely rebuilt in brick in the late C18 and
refenestrated late C20. Pantile roof. 2 storeys in 4 bays. C18 panelled
door in second bay from left below 6 vaned fanlight. Over door a stone
plaque: Dr Fleming's Hospital 1620. 3 late C20 casements to ground floor
and 4 to first floor. Gabled roof with internal north gable-end stack and
ridge stack right of centre.
