Farmhouse. Dated 1672. Coursed squared ironstone, old plain-tile roof, blue
brick end stacks on stone bases. 2-unit plan. storeys and attic; 2-window
range. Central C19 part-glazed door with coloured glass margin lights, moulded
wood surround and timber lintel. Small rectangular windows with similar glazing
and timber lintel to left. 4-light window with tall ovolo-moulded stone mullions
to ground floor left and right with hood moulds. Similar smaller windows to
first floor and gabled dormers with 3-light hollow-chamfered stone mullion
windows with hood moulds. Stone above left dormer window inscribed MR, another
above right dormer window inscribed 1672. Quoins and stone-coped gables with
kneelers. Lower C19 2-storey, 2-window wing to left. Interior has chamfered
spine beams, one room with fielded panelling, another with open fireplace with
cambered chamfered bressumer.
