House. C17, re-fronted and remodelled c.1840. Ironstone ashlar, slate roof,
brick end stacks on stone bases. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window
range. Central 4-panel part-glazed door with fanlight recessed in round-arched
stone doorway flanked by Doric pilasters supporting pediment. Tripartite sash
windows to ground floor left and right with stone lintels and keyblocks. 12-pane
sashes to first floor with stone lintels and keyblocks. Central bay breaks
forward and has pediment. Plinth, moulded stone eaves and stone-coped gables
with kneelers. Right gable end of coursed squared limestone banded with
ironstone. Interior: brick-vaulted stone cellar; re-used C17 barleysugar twist
balusters to stair-rail.
