1894 in modified Italianate style. Ashlar, 4 storeys with bracketed cornice,
parapet. 5 sash windows without glazing bars, 1st and 2nd floor segmental arches.
2nd floor pediments on consoles, stone balconettes on consoles. 1st floor pilasters,
segmentally arched panels between windows, continuous cornice breaking forward
at 2nd floor balconettes. 3rd floor round headed windows, 2 and 3 light, moulded
sill band. Modern shops with high fascia. No 49 has 3 windows, 1st floor 4
lights with segmental arches, slim pilasters. Included for group value.

Nos 41 to 49 (odd) form a group.
