Church. Cl2 origins, chancel probably C16, major alteration 1875. Ashlar,
coursed squared stone; graduated stone slate and Welsh slate roofs. Nave
with south porch, lower chancel with north vestry. Nave: 2 bays. To west
offset diagonal buttress. Rough cast plain gabled porch with pointed-arched
doorway. To right a C19 two-light pointed-arched window with cusped tracery
and hoodmould, 2 similar to north side. C19 three-light pointed west
window. Stone copings, gabled offset bellcote with pointed-arched opening
to west. Chancel: to left a blocked priests doorway with 4-centred arched
head. To right a twin lancet C16 window. 3-light east window with pointed-
arched, chamfered lights below flat head. Stone coping. C20 north vestry
with mullioned windows. Interior: chancel arch: C12. 2 orders of nook-
shafts, one decorated by lozenges with infillings including a figure of a
man. Capitals, one with scallops and a dragon, another with free volutes
and scrolls.
