Barn east of hall (not listed). C17 and C18. Timber-framed,
weatherboarded with peg-tiled roof. 15 bays (longest in
district). Midstrey at bay 9, porch on W side. Red brick
cottage built onto and into it at S end. INTERIOR: trusses
with collars and tie-beams and queen posts with small raking
struts to the principal rafters. Side purlins tenoned into
principal rafters and staggered on successive bays. Face
halved and bladed scarfs on wall plates and primary braced
framing to side walls. Variations in construction along the
length suggest C17 origin and C18 alteration.
