House. C17, restored in later C20. Timber-framed with large
panels and both straight and curved braces. Plastered brick
and wattle and daub infilling. Welsh slate roof. 3-unit plan.
One-and-a-half storeys with gabled dormers with barge-boards
and finials over. Two brick stacks at ends of roof on front
slopes and rear stack to left of centre. Irregular
fenestration of three windows on ground floor, all later C20
wooden casements. Later C20 ribbed half-glazed door to right
of centre with small flat wooden hood on brackets over.
Interior: timber-framed partitions; large spine beams and
joists to ground floor; 3 inglenook fireplaces; some early
doors and wide floorboards to 1st. A good example of the local
vernacular farmhouse type with plan form and structure intact.
