Description

STOURPORT ON SEVERN

SO77SE LICKHILL ROAD, Lickhill
589-1/1/96 (South side)
09/11/71 Woodgreen Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Mid C18. Red brick with paler dressings. Plain
tiled roof. 3-storeyed, T-plan with main range of 3 bays. This
has central pedimented gabled bay with segmentally arched
doorway and 2-light wood casements with transoms and flat
arched brick heads. Similar windows in outer bays, with some
evidence of early renewal in southern bay, suggesting the
replacement of 2 original windows on each floor with a single
one, perhaps to restore symmetry to the facade. Inserted
doorway in angle of rear wing, which also has 2-light casement
windows with transoms and flat arched heads. Sill bands
throughout, pale brick quoining. Coped gables, axial stack.
