Piers at north end

GV II

Entrance piers to private road. c1855. Painted ashlar. 6 piers
form vehicle and pedestrian entrances to Park Place from Park
Road, and have renewed quadrant walls and iron gates. 2 pairs
of round piers to footpaths have plinth and top band and low
conical coping; set-back vehicle entrance piers, joined by C20
quadrant walls to these, are higher, with swept cornice above
band.
