House, formerly vicarage. 1840. Unrendered roughly coursed stone rubble. Hipped
slate roof. Axial brick stack and rebuilt front and rear stacks to right.
Rectangular on plan, 2 rooms deep, with 2 principal rooms to left and single room to
right of entrance and stairhall.
2 storeys. 4-window range. Ground floor left-hand window and window openings on
each floor at right end are blocked. Original C19 fenestration intact, all 12-paned
hornless. Sashes with margin glazing bars. Dressed stone lintels with keystones.
Bracketted pedimented timber canopy to off-centre doorway with recessed raised and
fielded 6-panelled door. Windows on each floor of central bay at right end are also
blocked.
Interior: C19 joinery intact.
The Parsonage was built by Lord Rolle in 1840 on a site of 3 acres bought for £200.
