House, subdivided into flats. Late C18/early C19. Local stone
rubble, plastered front lightly blocked out as ashlar, some
slate-hanging to rear; end stacks have rendered brick
chimneyshafts with old chimneypots; slate roof.
PLAN: 2 rooms wide, double-depth plan with central front door
to rear stair.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-bay front. Central
round-headed doorway, recessed with 3 stone steps. C20
part-glazed replacement door under plain fanlight. Flanking
paired C19 twelve-pane sashes. First floor has 2 large bow
windows; tripartite sashes with front horned 16-pane sashes,
projecting cornices and flat roofs. Second floor has paired
horned 4-pane sashes with single one in centre. Timber
modillion eaves cornice. Roof parallel to street and hipped
each end. C20 casements to rear and C20 projecting bays.
INTERIOR: Not inspected but likely to be of interest.
