Farmhouse and attached barn. Early C18 core, altered C19.
Limestone and slate rubble, the house mostly cement-rendered;
graduated slate roof. Elongated range with 1-storey side wing
to left: house of 2-storeys and attic, 2 windows to 1st floor;
bank barn under same roof on right is of 3:1 bays. House:
altered front has steps within gabled porch flanked by C20
casements on each floor; truncated end stack on left and stack
to front slope to right of doorway. Barn: central lean-to with
front window and door in right return; on its left is a
quoined, cow house doorway whilst in angle to right is a
waggon entrance (ramp removed) with boarded doors beneath
wooden lintel and segmental arch under a corrugated sheet
canopy on projecting side wall; door on right; small vent
holes in upper wall. Rear: house has 16-pane casement to stair
window flanked by casements with glazing bars to ground floor,
sashes to 1st floor and small casements to attic. Side wing on
right has horizontal-sliding sash on left of 6-pane sash
beneath gable; limestone stack heightened in brick. Barn:
opposed waggon entrance within projection; stone steps to
1st-floor door on left. INTERIOR: a curved wall near present
staircase indicates position of former spiral stair.
