Farmhouse. Late C18 incorporating parts of a late C16 building; later additions
and alterations. Roughly coursed slate-stone with granite quoins. Slate-hung
to left gable end and rear on first floor. Slate roof. 3-unit plan with
end stacks. 2 storeys.
Farmyard Side: First floor has 3-light mullion window to left of centre with
left light infilled by slate slab. Rectangular window directly below eaves
to centre and two c19 casements to right, right top-hung. Ground floor has
2- and 3-light flat-faced chamfered mullion windows to left at chamfered Tudor-
arched doorway with gabled hood immediately to right of centre. Prominent
early C20 canted brick bay to right with 5 glazing bar sashes. Integral end
stacks, left with red brick top. Chamfered Tudor-arched doorway to left gable
end, which has single-storey hip-roofed outbuilding attached.
Garden Side: First floor has glazing bar sash to left and 3-light C19 casement
to right of narrow round-headed glazing bar sash lighting staircase. Ground
floor has 6-panel door (top panels now glazed) with C19 three-light casement
to right and similar C20 casement to left.
