House. C17 or earlier, rewindowed in C19. Timber frame
plastered, 2 storeys and attic, farmhouse with red brick sill
wall in English bond and steep gabled roof with bellcast at
eaves, now slated. 3 unit baffle-entry plan with large central
chimney one third from E end and large external stack at W. 3
window front with windows with vertical proportion on 1st floor
and horizontal on ground floor. Wide pilaster strip each side of
door with similar crosspiece rising to a point. C19 5-panel door
with bolection mouldings to upper 3 panels, others flush beaded.
Modern metal windows. Brick and slate rear lean-to whitewashed.
One window on each floor in E gable with small window in apex.
Linked on W to range of C18-19, weatherboarded timberframed
outbuildings with steep corrugated iron roofs.
