ST 40 SW BROADWINDSOR GREENHAM

4/40 Lower Farmhouse

Detached Farmhouse. Early C19. Dressed stone walls with a rubble-
stone base. Slate roof, hipped. One brick stack at left hand behind
ridge, and at right hand end, eaves. 2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes
with glazing-bars, tripartite to ground floor. Stone voussoirs over.
Front door at centre, 2 long recess panels, panelled reveals and
semi-circular head. Simple wave-moulded architrave. Unusual fanlight
with flowing foliated glazing-bars. Wood. Rear wing is roughcast.
