Houses. Early C18 front to C17, to earlier timber-frame.
Painted brick; Welsh slate roof; brick stack to rear.
3-storeys; 4-window range: C20 casements under segmental
arches; storey band broken by two casements. C20, 6
fielded-panel door to centre, in moulded case with flat hood
on plain consoles: flanked by C20 windows under segmental
arches; C20 half-glazed door to right; further door (to
No.70A, Corve Cottage) to right; storey- band. Timber-framing
visible in right gable. INTERIOR: exposed early C17 and later
timber-framing and ceiling beams throughout, with massive
frame posts to ground and 1st floor rear; chamfered spine beam
and blocked door frame to 1st floor; attic displays collared
truss and chamfered purlins.
