Railway station. 1848. Red brick with blue brick diaperwork
and plain tiled roof. Central block of 2 storeys, flanked by
single-storeyed wings. East front facing station yard has
advanced wing to left, and central projecting bay, both with
stone copings to Dutch gables. Mullioned windows with
round-headed lights. On the platform side, long wing to north
with series of doors and mullioned windows, and Dutch gable
over main section.
