Major C20 alterations. Rendered. Black pantile roof. 3 storeys, jettied at first
floor. 2nd floor windows. 3 bay shopfront to the left-side with attached fluted
columns supporting fascia. Central shopping arcade entry with casement window to side.
Tall 2-storey shopfront at righthand side. Casement windows throughout. Flat modillion
cornice. Beneath the street range of the building are the remains of a brick built
undercroft, dated by comparison with others in the city to the C15. Two side chambers
survive each with a four-centred profile; one extending beneath the street and the
other in the north wall of the cellar. To the south of the former is a part of a
blocked opening representing either another side chamber or a doorway.
