Farmhouse, now house. Dated 1636 on porch, east end former byre rebuilt as 2½
storey kitchen block in C18, C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble, double
Roman tiled roof with gable stacks and ridge stack, stone to left, others brick.
In 2 blocks, 2-storey to left, 2½ storeys to right. Block to left has 3 windows,
ground floor has 3-light and 4-light casement, to right with 3 panes each light,
chamfered mullions and timber lintel, to left, C20 replacement, central 2-storey
gabled porch has C20 door with timber lintel, 3-light replacement casement above
with timber lintel and datestone; first floor has 2 replacement smaller 3-light
casements with timber lintel to right; projecting joint between 2 blocks. To
right, one window, 3-light casement at ground and first floor with leaded lights
in some panes, stone segmental heads and stonework to sides, smaller at first
floor, replacement 3-light casement under eaves, large quoins. Right return has
single storey lean-to, and C20 window replacing former door, surround as at front
right; left return has ground and first floor 3-light replacement casements.
Rear of taller block has first floor 2-light casement in rounded timber frame with
relieving arch, ground floor has replacement casement with relieving arch, single
storey C20 lean-to with small door and window; larger single storey lean-to (former
dairy) behind lower block with 2-light casement in chamfered timber frame. Interior:
