Farmhouse. Late C17 with later alterations and additions. Coursed limestone
rubble, stone dressings and long and short quoins, triple roll and double Roman
tiled roofs with raised coped verges and gable stacks. L-plan. South
elevation has 2 storeys and 2 windows, ground floor has 3-light casement with wide
ovolo mullions and hood mould, door with chamfered jambs, bolection-moulded head,
dripstone and pediment, 2 similar 2-light casements at first floor; to right,
gable end of wing has 2-light attic window with moulded mullion, surround and hood
mould, at upper level, block of stone projecting from quoins has metal sundial.
Right return of 2 storeys and 2 windows, symmetrical, all 3-light casements with
ovolo mullions and hood mould. 1½ storey outhouse attached to left, roof removed,
has door with timber lintel, 2-light casement at ground floor and above door;
left return of house has 2-span roof, 2 gable ends and 1½ storey gabled wing
attached. Interior: not inspected.
