The east range of a house originally of four ranges round a
courtyard. In c.1840 the house was extensively remodelled and
the present external appearance dates from that period. Brick,
cement rendered with hipped, slate roof. Of two unequal storeys
and six window bays with two bays projecting slightly and
surmounted by a pediment with vase ornaments. Recessed hung
sashes with glazing bars at ground floor and similar, smaller
window at first floor. Doorcase of engaged doric columns with
entablature and pediment. Six panelled door with radial glazing
bars to fanlight.
