of Thomas Pearse

GV II

Churchyard walls and ledger stone on south wall. Probably C18. Slate stone-rubble
walls enclosing churchyard of Church of Petroc. The slate stone is horizontally
coursed with a horizontal string course with vertically laid slate capping above. On
the south wall is a ledger stone in memory of Thomas Pearse, mariner, who died in
1709. Marginal inscription with verse in central panel.
