Wall. Probably C18. Coursed rubble stone and brick in part
with brick and stone coping. Runs from Broadgate Cottage (qv)
to the corner of Silk Mill Lane and then returns southwards
along the east side of Lower Mill Street to join a section of
Town Wall (qv). Approximately 3-6m high and has 2 gateways,
one near Broadgate Cottage, the other to No.1 Silk Mill Lane
(not included). Included for group value.
