House. Circa mid C19. Slate stone rubble with moulded plinth and rusticated granite
quoins. Slate roof with hipped ends and deep over hanging eaves. Brick axial and end
stacks.
Plan: Double depth plan with service wing to rear left. Main range has 2 principal
rooms to front with third principal room to rear right and smaller probably morning
room to rear left. The central wide passage has a stair on the right hand side and
the passage continues into the 2-room plan service range to rear. Further service
rooms were also accommodated in the cellar.
Exterior: 2 storeys and cellar. Symmetrical 3 window front with flight of steps up
to central entrance. Brick segmental arches with ashlar stone key blocks to window
openings. Two C20 windows in cellar. C19 panelled door with fanlight in round brick
arched opening flanked by two C19 hornless 12-pane sashes and 3 similar sashes above.
2 window left hand side elevation with complete sashes and service wing to rear.
Interior: Circa mid C19 stair. Partition between front and rear principal rooms on
right removed.
