Road bridge. 1875. J S Crossley, Engineer. Rock faced gritstone rubble with
brick arch heads, continuous stone band at road level, parapets. Six segmental
arches, five to the River Ribble and one to the railway line easternmost arch
now partly blocked. Constructed as part of the Settle to Carlisle line of the
Midland Railway.
