(No 40 no longer separate now included in No 39). Nos 39 and 41 C18 or
possibly earlier, 2 storey cob cottages. Thatched roof, eaves line follow-
ing fall in ground. C19 wood casements mostly renewed on No 41 which
has new door and tent-hood. Entrance of No 39 to rear. To right of No
41 full freight carriageway with old double doors, weather boarding above.
Nos 42 and 43 one of the sortie origin but heightened early C19. Formerly
thatched. Gable end steep pitch slate roof. Casements renewed No 42.
Older 2-light casements to No 43. No 42 has door of 6 flush panels and
new tent hood. The door of No 43 has 4 flush panels, 2 glazed.

Nos 39 to 43 (consec) form a group.
