3/52 Sweet Briar Cottage

GV II

Small house. C17, altered and restored C19 and C20. Timber
frame exposed at gable ends, whitewashed brick infill and front
wall. Left bay to front has modern frame, right bay has whitewashed
brick pilasters. Thatched roof, flanking external brick chimneys,
that to left with rubble stone base. 1½ storeys, 2 bays, C20
leaded casements, 2-light in thatch, irregular to ground floor, C20
door to left of right bay. Single storey whitewashed brick extension
with hipped tiled roof to right has C20 extension projecting to front.
Later outshot to rear.
