C17, 2 storey, cob with hipped thatch roof, massive central chimney. Part
of house, right of door, is slightly jettied. Wide door opening. 2, 3-light
casements, and 1 very small one. Barn extension on north end adapted as domestic
wing. Interior: timber-framed crosswall, chamfered beams and hewn roof trusses,
large fireplaces with stop-chamfered beams, curved wall to winding stair.

Gosford House, Farthings, Gosford Pines and Gosford Farmhouse form a group.
