C17 farmhouse with kitchen wing to north and C19 additions to west. Timber-framed
on plinth, rough-cast rendered. Modern tile roof with repaired C17 brick ridge
stack to north gable end of main range. C18 stack to south gable end. Main range
of 2 storeys and attics. Two horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. Two
casements at ground floor. Entry opposite stack. Kitchen wing of 2 storeys and
attics. One dormer. One casement to each floor. C19 brick extension to west.
Lean-to slate roof. Single storey brick brewhouse to west of kitchen range.
Interior. Main range of 2 bays with lobby entry. Posts, main beams and middle
rails visible. Hall with large inglenook fireplace, now blocked. Parlour originally
with C17 wall paintings. Fireplace flanked by C18 panelled cupboards. Kitchen wing
of 2 bays. Chamfered and stopped main beams.
