Dovecote. Probably late C16. Coursed rubble with squared ashlar blocks,
freestone quoins and dressings; double Roman tiled roof with moulded coping and
finials to the gables. Rectangular on plan with a central chamfered and
segmental headed doorway on the south elevation; later square openings above and
to the right. The east and west gables have 3-light casement windows in hollow
chamfered mullions and surrounds and under dripmoulds; the outer lights of the
west and all of the east window are blocked. Interior: inserted floor on
chamfered beam; the nesting holes to the upper part survive intact and are
constructed of finely sawn ashlar.
