House and shop. Mid C17 with alterations c1900 and 1980 limestone rubble and
freestone quoins and window dressings. Chamfered plinth. C20 red pantiled
roof, brick end stack to south, and brick courses below the eaves. One storey
and attic. Boarded shop door to left hand and house door to right hand, C20
shop window and two ground floor and three similar facade dormer windows with
four-paned hung sashes. In east and west gable elevations are two original
windows with ovolo moulding and stone pediments; the window to the west is
blocked with bricks. Interior: stop-chamfered ceiling beams to two main
rooms, central hearth rebuilt and chimney reduced, large east end hearth with
original mantel beam. Two floor stone chimney pieces with moulded jambs and
pointed four-centred head. Some C17 panelling in the shop.
