House. C17 with some later alterations. Rubble, roughcast, pantiled roof with
raised coped verges and gable stacks, formerly had diagonal chimneys. Through
passage plan. 3 storeys and 3 windows, ground floor has two 8-light wooden
ovolo-moulded mullion and transom windows with some leaded lights remaining, first
floor has 2 similar 6-light windows; central 2-storey narrow gabled porch, has
opening with shaped head and similar 4-light window at first floor, heavy plank
and batten door with raised fillets, depressed 4-centred arch, ovolo-moulded frame
with elaborate stops, cambered moulded timber lintel, bench to each side and small
single light in heavy ovolo-moulded frame; 2nd floor has 2 small 2-light
casements. Rear and interior not accessible.
