SY 49 NE NETHERBURY KINGSLAND

Farmhouse

Detached Farmhouse. C17, or earlier core. Later fenestration.
Rubble-stone walls, plastered. Thatch roof with gable-ends. Brick
stacks, at left hand gable and right of centre. 2 storeys. 4
windows, 2-light casements, with lead lights, at right hand upper.
4-light casement window, pegged with a heavy frame and small lights
over. Porch, with brick jambs and a blue lias stone roof, C19.
Interior: large open fireplace. 8 foot wide by 6 foot high with a
chamfered lintel at ceiling-level. Embrasure on the left hand side with
a stone shelf. Bread-oven door with "Samson Bridport".
