SY 59 NW POWERSTOCK SORT

8/233 Sort Farmhouse

GV II

Detached Farmhouse, possibly a converted farmbuilding. c.C18 and
C19. Rubble-stone walls, with C19 brick quoins. Thatch roof,
half-hipped at left and right gables. Brick stacks at left hand
end, left ridge and right ridge. One storey and attics. 4 windows,
3-light wooden casements with glazing-bars. Wooden cills and
lintels, One 2-light C18 eminent. Late C18 brick dressings at
rear. Present front door on left gable wall, plank, studded, C20.
