Originally probably a pigsty. Circa early C19 (shown on 1840 tithe map).
Local stone and slate stone rubble. Scantle slate roof with gabled ends and
clay ridge tiles. The back wall onto Harbourne River has one large later
window. Front has 3 doorways with timber lintels, 2 are blocked to form
windows, but centre doorway has boarded door. Later lean-to at north west
end.
Interior: Originally divided by low slate partitions inside.
This is one of a good group of buildings associated with Crowdy Mill (qv).
