Farmhouse. Early C18, remodelled 1786, restored 1856-58, rear extensions 1962.
Brick. Plain tiles to front, pantiles to rear. Double pile plan. 2 storeys
and dormer attic in 6 bays. Panelled door right of centre contained within
timber doorcase. Above is an open pediment supported on scrolled consoles.
Sash windows are all early C18 with thick glazing bars set in flush frames
and under gauged skewback arches. First floor windows dispense with gauged
skewbacks as they are immediately under moulded timber eaves cornice. Gabled
roof with 2 pedimented dormers containing sashes with thick glazing bars.
Ridge stack over door. Interior. Lounge has plastered ceiling. Bridging
beam and cornice are pargetted with floral design. Large frame panelling.
